Norwegian star Erling Haaland, Manchester City's forward, described his team's current season as catastrophic, confirming that the team has not delivered the required performance. However, he stressed the importance of fighting for the English FA Cup title to end the season positively.

Manchester City is preparing for a crucial clash against Crystal Palace next Saturday at Wembley Stadium in the FA Cup final, in a last attempt to save a season that ended with a loss of the Premier League title to Liverpool, led by coach Arne Slot.

In his statements, Haaland said: "It has been a difficult season and disappointing for us. We lost many matches, and this is very frustrating; it hasn't been enjoyable at all."

He continued: "Despite everything that has happened, we have to finish the season strongly. Reaching the Wembley final is an opportunity, and it is always important to win titles."

Regarding the impact of injuries, especially the absence of Spanish midfielder Rodri, he added: "Injuries have undoubtedly affected us; Rodri has been out for a long time, but we are not looking for excuses; none of us have been at our best."

He continued: "When you don't deliver your best in the Premier League, you pay the price immediately, and that's what happened to us."

Haaland concluded his statements by saying: "If you are not at your best, you won't win matches in this tough league. We now have one opportunity, and we must seize it and finish the season with something to be proud of."
