Sunday 11-05-2025
French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, the guardian of Lille, has won the Best Goalkeeper award in the French league for the 2024/2025 season.

Chevalier outperformed several prominent names in the competition, most notably Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, who had an outstanding season.

The French Professional Players' League announced Chevalier's victory during the annual ceremony held on Sunday evening, after a remarkable season in which he kept a clean sheet in 11 matches, and he was also called up to the French national team for the first time late last year.

The Lille goalkeeper surpassed Donnarumma, Lucas Paquetá from Lyon, Dordy Petrovic from Strasbourg, and Geronimo Rulli from Marseille.
