Tarek El-Sayed, a former Zamalek star, believes that Pyramids will not win the league title this season.
Al-Ahly Bank defeated Pyramids yesterday, Friday, with a score of 4-2 in a match within the fifth round of the decisive stage of the Premier League.
Tarek El-Sayed said on MBC Masr 2: "Pyramids without fans will not win the league, as the presence of fans changes the motivation."
He continued: "The surprise is that all the players who contributed to Al-Ahly Bank's victory today were Zamalek players, and Ahmed Madbouli's goal against Ahmed El-Shenawy is not the first time he has scored against him in this way."
He added: "It is natural for this to happen to a team playing without fans, along with the pressure that Al-Ahly imposes on Pyramids."
He continued: "A team that was leading by 7 points in the second round, then only wins one match, is strange, as if you are saying I do not want to win the league."
