Ayman Al-Ramadi Explains Zamalek's Draw with Ceramica Cleopatra
Ayman Al-Ramadi, the coach of Zamalek, explained the reason for his team's draw with Ceramica Cleopatra in today's match.
Zamalek drew with Ceramica Cleopatra 2-2 in a match held today, Friday, as part of the fifth round of the decisive phase of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ramadi said in the press conference after the match: "We need to work more; the team is going through tough conditions, and we have many absences. The bench lacked several attacking elements, we have a fleet of injuries, and I hope they return quickly."
He added: "We have only been working for two days; I am happy with my team and their efforts, even though the draw is disappointing. But I focus on work, then work, to bring the performance to its best shape. The ball progression was better for Zamalek, and I say to the players, hard luck. All I can say is that they performed positively, and the negatives are solely my responsibility."
He emphasized: "I refuse to describe Zamalek's performance as chaotic; that is a harsh word. Perhaps we did not create enough chances, and we are going through difficult conditions due to the absence of several players, while on the other hand, the opposing team has all the elements and yet did not create chances."
Al-Ramadi explained: "The conditions in this weather are lethal due to the high temperatures, and every coach has his own method, and football is evident to everyone. I also fully understand the capabilities of Ceramica players, having trained them previously, so they know what I am thinking."
He continued: "Zamalek has elements that can save us time in correcting the course; we have a strong squad with experienced players like Benteke, El-Said, Omar Gaber, Nasser Mansi, and Nasser Maher. They only need a different mental and psychological state to perform better."
