Amorim: I Feel Nervous, This is My Opinion on Mount
Friday 09-05-2025
Rubén Amorim, the coach of Manchester United, appeared in press statements after qualifying for the Europa League final, winning against Bilbao 4-1 in the second leg, noting that the first leg ended 3-0.

The coach said: "Qualifying for the final? That's the least we can do for these fans, for their support during this tough season. I am already nervous about the final match. If we don't win the title, it means nothing, but we are happy to be there, let's see what happens."

He added: "I know I should have been a better coach, and the team should be better at this moment, but we are trying. We have performed well in Europe, but we are struggling in the Premier League."

Regarding Mason Mount, who scored two goals: "I am very happy for him. He is a great player. He puts in a lot of effort and has high quality. I am very impressed with Kobbie Mainoo, he only played 10 minutes, but everything he did was amazing, and sometimes you can be on the bench and change the course of the game."

He emphasized: "When you see a player like Mason putting in effort every day, eating healthy, and taking ice baths, you simply want to help him. He is perfect for this position, as he can be a midfielder and also run as a winger, so I am very happy for him."

He concluded: "When you have a complete team, you can think about the game. Sometimes we manage to stay with players in different positions, but with more options available, you can change the course of the game and move forward, and these things help you win matches."
