The assistant coach of the Electricity team, Captain Qusai Munir, confirmed that his team was not at its best during the match against Zakho, pointing out that individual mistakes were a major reason for the loss.

He said: "We played a tough match against a good and organized team, but unfortunately, we made costly mistakes at critical moments of the match, which Zakho exploited perfectly to score their goals."

He continued: "We did not succeed in recovering after the first goal, despite our attempts on goal, and some substitutions did not yield the desired result due to the mental and physical decline of the players in the second half."

He added: "We know the magnitude of the challenges we are facing, and we need a strong stand from everyone, whether the coaching staff or the players, so that we can regain our balance and return to the right path."

He concluded: "We have important matches coming up, and we will work on correcting mistakes and addressing the negative points in our performance, and we will prepare the team in the best possible way for the remainder of the season."
