Flick: The referee's decisions were in favor of Inter, and this is what we will do next year
Barcelona coach Hans Flick appeared in press statements after being eliminated from the Champions League following a 4-3 loss to Inter in the second leg of the semi-final, knowing that the first leg ended 3-3.
The coach said: "I feel a great disappointment for our exit, but I am not frustrated with my team's performance. They gave their all today."
He added: "We are out of the tournament, but next year we will start anew and we will please our fans, the club, and everyone around us."
He continued: "Inter is a really great team, a strong team that defends well, and they also have a fantastic striker."
He elaborated: "In the second half, we were very good."
Regarding the referee's decisions: "I don’t want to talk about the referee, but every decision was a 50% call for us and 50% for them; the referee called it in favor of Inter. We did our best, but in the end, that was the case, and that saddened me a little."
