Zamalek Announces Details of Mohamed Shahat's Injury
Mohamed Osama, the doctor of Zamalek Club, announced the details of the injury sustained by Mohamed Shahat, the team's player, during the match against Bank Al Ahly yesterday, Monday, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Mohamed Osama stated in remarks published on the club's official website: "Mohamed Shahat felt pain in his hamstring, and we preferred to substitute him for fear of aggravating his injury."
He revealed that the player will undergo medical examinations today, Tuesday, to determine the extent of the injury and the duration of his absence from the pitch.
Zamalek will face Ceramica next Friday in the fifth round of the final stage of the Egyptian League.
