Officially: FIFA announces the suspension of Zamalek's registration for 3 periods
FIFA has officially announced the suspension of Zamalek Club's registration for three transfer periods, due to overdue payments to former coach Pacheco.
This decision comes days after a similar ruling against the white club due to dues owed to their former striker, Moroccan Khaled Boutaib, amidst an increasing number of complaints filed against Zamalek recently.
According to sources, Pacheco's dues date back to his coaching period with the team in 2021, while FIFA has not yet clarified the details of the new case that led to the suspension decision.
Zamalek currently occupies third place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 40 points, 7 points behind the leaders Pyramids.
