Sunday 04-05-2025
Jose Mourinho Biserro, the head coach of Zamalek, confirmed that his team will not give up in the race for the Egyptian league title, emphasizing the importance of continuing to fight until the last breath.

Biserro said in statements published on the club's official website: "Tomorrow's match is very important against a good team, and we must give our best. We will continue to compete until the end of the league."

Regarding missed opportunities, he said: "There hasn't been enough time recently due to the pressure of matches, so we allocated a large part of the recent training sessions to improve the final touch and develop the offensive performance, which we have lacked recently."

He added: "In the last six matches, we conceded only one goal, but what we need is to increase the creation of chances and improve decision-making in the final touch in front of the goal."

He continued: "Zamalek will not raise the white flag in the league race as long as the opportunity exists. We will continue to fight, as mathematically the league has not been decided yet, despite the difficulty of the task related to the results of competing teams."

Biserro pointed out the readiness of duo Mahmoud Hamdi "El-Wensh" and Mahmoud Bentayek, after their suspensions ended, and that "El-Wensh" completed his rehabilitation program and participated in collective training normally.

He explained that the team has been suffering from significant absences recently, such as Mahmoud Abdel Razek "Shikabala", Mahmoud Jahad, and Ahmed El-Jifali, confirming that the coaching staff is awaiting their return soon to participate in training.

Biserro concluded his statements by saying: "We need the fans, and I urge them not to give any excuse for their absence. I expect their presence in the upcoming match against Pyramids."
