Reason for Al Ahly's Reluctance to Activate the Purchase Clause for Attia Allah
Egyptian press sources revealed today, Monday, that Al Ahly club has settled on the future of their left-back Yahya Attia Allah, who is on loan from the Russian club Sochi until the end of the current season.
Reports indicated that Al Ahly does not wish to activate the purchase clause for Attia Allah's contract from his Russian club after the loan period ends.
The reports pointed out that the direction within the club regarding Yahya was based on his failure to deliver the expected level since joining, along with his numerous injuries this season, and his age, which is thirty years old.
Al Ahly is looking to sign a new left-back who is younger than the Moroccan during the upcoming summer transfer window to strengthen the left flank.
Al Ahly currently has three players in the left-back position this season: Yahya Attia Allah, Tunisian Ali Maaloul, and Karim Al-Dubais.
