El Mokawloon SC: Mohamed Abdelnasser played against Al Ahly while suffering from an injury
Talat Mohram, the director of football at El Mokawloon SC, confirmed that Mohamed Abdelnasser, a player for the team, was suffering from a foot injury during his participation against Al Ahly FC in the Cairo Cup last Monday.
El Mokawloon SC lost to Al Ahly FC 1-0 last Monday in the second round of the group stage of the Cairo Capital Cup.
Talat Moharam stated in comments via On Sport channel: "Mohamed Abdelnasser participated against Al Ahly FC while suffering from a foot injury. He was referred to a surgeon, who gave him the opportunity to treat it with medication, and he will be absent for 10 to 15 days."
He added: "Can Abdelnasser compensate for Ashour's absence at Al Ahly? What I can say is that Mohamed Abdelnasser is the future of Egypt and Al Ahly FC."
He concluded: "Playing in the same style as Modern? There are many details that have changed in football, and other teams have developed a lot, not just Al Ahly and Zamalek and Pyramids. We play every match in the same way, not just against Al Ahly."
