German media reports have revealed details about the injury of Canadian player Alphonso Davies, the star of Bayern Munich, which he sustained while participating with his national team against the United States in the CONCACAF Championship.

Bayern Munich announced in an official statement that Davies has suffered a torn ACL, but the newspaper "Bild" clarified that the injury is more severe, as the player is also suffering from complete damage to the knee cartilage.

According to the report, Davies is expected to be sidelined for a period of up to 6 months, which could extend to 8 months if he requires complex surgical intervention, thus missing the opportunity to participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with Bayern Munich.

The Bavarian team will participate in the Club World Cup in Group C alongside Auckland City, Portuguese Benfica, and Argentine Boca Juniors.

It is worth noting that Davies has participated in 31 matches with Bayern Munich this season across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists, and he had renewed his contract with the club until the summer of 2030.
