Harry Kane Set to Extend Contract with Bayern Munich
English striker Harry Kane is close to finalizing his future with Bayern Munich, as a contract extension is expected to be completed by the end of August or the beginning of September.
According to journalist Maximilian Koch and Abendzeitung, Kane has chosen to remain in Munich and extend his contract, feeling very comfortable with his family in the city, alongside his belief in Bayern Munich's ability to compete strongly and win the Champions League under coach Vincent Kompany, potentially achieving the title starting this season.
Kane is also attracting increasing global interest, as he is currently the frontrunner among betting companies to win the Ballon d'Or, reflecting his significant status on the international stage during his time with Bayern Munich.
If he wins the award, Kane will become the fourth player in Bayern Munich's history to win the Ballon d'Or, following Germans Gerd Müller in 1970, Franz Beckenbauer in 1972 and 1976, and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1980 and 1981.
