Eberl Close to Contract Extension with Bayern Munich

Max Eberl, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, is close to extending his contract with the Bavarian club after receiving a positive signal from the presidential committee regarding his continuation in the role.

According to reports from 'Sport Bild', Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer informed Eberl during the club's recent Asian tour that the presidential committee has approved the extension of their collaboration.

The final approval is still awaiting the club's supervisory board's endorsement, which will hold its next meeting on August 25 to make the official decision regarding Eberl's future.

Uli Hoeness, the honorary president of Bayern Munich, previously raised the possibility of extending Eberl's contract to "100 percent," indicating clear support for the sporting director within the club.
