Saturday 22-03-2025
The Asian Football Confederation announced the match between North Korea and the UAE in Riyadh as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The match will take place next Tuesday at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Since the start of the qualifiers, North Korea has been prohibited from playing at home due to a decision by the International Football Federation.

North Korea opened the qualifiers in Laos and will face the UAE in Riyadh in the new round.

The choice of Riyadh reflects the confidence of the Asian Football Confederation and its growing role in hosting major matches in the continent.
