Saudi Arabia absences in Gulf Cup 27 final against United Arab Emirates
Alaa Hejji and Zakaria Hawsawi will miss the Saudi Arabia national team match against the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday in the Gulf Cup 27 final at the Al-Naema Stadium in Jeddah, after suffering injuries.
Alaa Hejji and Zakaria Hawsawi are currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation programs within the Green camp, after it became impossible for them to participate in the decisive match for the Gulf title.
New injuries have hit the national team as Hassan Kadesh and Nawaf Al-Aqidi have been excluded from the squad due to their inability to continue competing in the tournament.
The Saudi national team has lost Musab Al-Juwayr just days before the start of Gulf Cup 27 due to disciplinary reasons, continuing the trend of absences that has affected the team's plans during the tournament.
Saudi Arabia secured their place in the final after overcoming Qatar on penalties following a goalless draw, while the United Arab Emirates advanced at the expense of Oman with a goal to nil. The Green hopes to overcome absences and clinch the title.
