The head of the medical staff stated in remarks to the media center: "Ahmed Fattouh is suffering from recurring pain and swelling in his knee, and it has been decided not to subject the player to surgery after consulting with top doctors in Germany, who confirmed that there is no need for the player to undergo surgery at this time."
He added that Ahmed Fattouh will undergo conservative treatment and that the player has performed rehabilitation exercises until his condition improved in recent hours.
