Sunday 16-03-2025
Barcelona has won the Copa del Rey for Youth for the 19th time in its history, after a crushing victory over Real Zaragoza with a score of 5-0 in the final held at the Municipal Stadium of Villanueva.

Barcelona, led by coach Juliano Belletti, controlled the match from the start, taking advantage of the physical exhaustion of their opponent after they had played extra time in the semifinals. Arnau Pradas opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and just two minutes later, he assisted his teammate Juan Hernandez for the second goal.

Hugo Alba extended Barcelona's lead with a third goal in the 28th minute, before Hernandez returned to score the fourth goal in the 56th minute. Alba capped off the goal fest with a fifth goal in the 68th minute, confirming Barcelona's dominance in the match and leading them to claim the title after years of absence.

With this significant victory, Barcelona adds another title to its collection and reaffirms its superiority in youth categories within Spanish football.
