Gavi has participated in just 191 minutes this season with FC Barcelona in 7 official matches, including 146 minutes in LaLiga and 45 minutes in the UEFA Champions League, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo."

The midfielder started the season as a starter against Elche but was sidelined by a strong knee bruise for matches against Athletic Bilbao and Rayo Vallecano. During September, he participated for limited minutes against Feyenoord and Racing, before starting as a starter against Getafe in October.

Gavi had a greater opportunity against Paris Saint-Germain, coming on before the half-hour mark with the score at 1-1. He played alongside Rodri in midfield and nearly scored after a pass from Lamine Yamal, but goalkeeper Matvey Safonov denied his attempt.

Despite a good performance against the French team, Gavi did not participate in the Clasico against Real Madrid, which Barcelona lost 2-1. The Spanish newspaper noted that Flick made only four substitutions, while the player remained on the bench.

Gavi continues to work with a team spirit despite his few appearances, writing after the loss in the Clasico: "The journey is long with my team until the end, always." With the strong competition at FC Barcelona, his limited playing time may open the door for interest from other clubs in January, especially as Luis Enrique appreciates what he brings to the team.
