The Portuguese coach confirmed that the team did not perform perfectly during some periods of the match, but he praised the spirit of the players and their determination to achieve victory after falling behind in the score.

Conceição spoke about his team's performance in the first half, saying: "We prepared well for this match, and I think we started well. There were two goals disallowed for us, but we played with a strong character."

He added: "In the second half, we did not start well and conceded another goal, but the team showed a strong reaction and we managed to turn the result around."

The coach also praised the performance of Pulisic, who scored a brace that led Milan to victory, saying: "Pulisic feels very comfortable when he starts playing on the wing and then moves inside. He and Yunus Musah exploited the spaces between the lines wonderfully. Christian is a high-quality player, and his best position is to start from the side and then move into the depth."

Conceição concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of utilizing the available time to prepare for upcoming matches, stating: "I enjoy working on the pitch a lot, and our pressing today was more organized and effective. We are not happy about being out of European competitions, but now we have more time to prepare for matches, and we must make the best use of it."
