Sérgio Conceição, the head coach of AC Milan, made important statements following the defeat against Lazio in the 27th round of the Italian league with a score of 2-1.

Conceição said: "We are going through a difficult moment, and everyone feels that. The players are aware of the pressures surrounding the club, but there is no solution other than hard work and fighting every day. We need pride to change this situation."

He added: "We didn't have enough time to prepare for this match, and we felt like we were out of our usual rhythm. I have never experienced such a situation in my career before. When things go this way, everything becomes more complicated, from passing to dribbling and even reactions after falling behind in the score."

He continued: "We showed a desire to fight, and we could have equalized or even won. The players are committed and believe in what we are doing, but the challenge lies in the lack of time available to work, especially with crucial matches every three days."

He went on: "I see a lot of running forward quickly, but when it comes to falling back to defend, it’s not at the same pace. This costs us goals and gives the opponent confidence, we must address this immediately."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "My teams have always relied on balance between defense and attack, but here I found a group with different characteristics. We need to adapt and work on developing together. The skillful attacking players must also contribute to the defensive side; we are working on this and will continue to improve."
