Real Sociedad's squad for the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Real Madrid includes Moroccan defender Naif Aguerd, despite suffering from a muscle injury sustained during the recent match against Leganés.

Although Aguerd missed the team's training today, coach Imanol Alguacil confirmed during the press conference that the player is in good condition, stating: "He was substituted against Leganés as a precaution, but he is optimistic about participating tomorrow and might be part of the starting lineup."

He added: "Theoretically, he was supposed to be ready, but he told me today that he cannot train due to pain in the injured muscle."

The match between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Reale Arena, at 10:30 PM Cairo time, and 11:30 PM Mecca time.
