Arsenal's star midfielder Declan Rice appeared in press statements after beating Tottenham 2-1 in the 21st round of the English Premier League.

The English player said: "You could say tonight's game was more than anything else. From the first minute, the first half was pure control. We showed intent, pressure and desire, you could say it was a derby game. I think we were probably unlucky not to score 10 goals." Tonight. This is the feeling.”

He added: “The coach’s message before the match? You don’t need a message when you play against Tottenham, you know what that means to the fans as a player If you can't stand up against Tottenham, you shouldn't play football. You need to be excited.

He continued: “In the second half, the game was open. Maybe they could have scored two goals but we could have had five or six more - This is the disappointing thing.”

He concluded: “The three points are the most important thing. We hope now that we can achieve a good result because this is the most important part of the season.”
