About the Team

Bolivia. The Bolivia national football team is the official representative of Bolivia in international tournaments, overseen by the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF), which was established in 1925 and joined FIFA in 1926. The Bolivian team is considered one of the traditional teams in the CONMEBOL region and achieved its most notable success by winning the Copa América in 1963. It has also participated in several World Cup editions, with its last qualification being in 1994. The team is known by its nickname 'La Verde' (the Green) due to the color of its national kit, and it plays its matches at the Estadio Ernesto Tche Guevara in La Paz and other national stadiums.
