El-Shenawy: Ready for the Belouizdad match and we seek to reconcile Al-Ahly fans

Mohamed El-Shenawy, Al-Ahly club goalkeeper, revealed his position on participating in his team’s upcoming match against Algeria’s CS Belouizdad in the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly will face its counterpart, CS Belouizdad, at Cairo Stadium, as part of the third round of the group stage of the African Champions League, tomorrow evening, Sunday.

El-Shenawy said in his statements at the introductory press conference for the match, today, Saturday, that he is ready to participate against CS Belouizdad after recovering from a slight shoulder bruise, and his regular attendance in Al-Ahly’s training.

He added: “We have a strong match ahead of us against CS Belouizdad in the African Champions League, and we realize how important it is and our goal is to win it. To rise to the top of the group.”

He continued: “After the Pachuca match in the Challenge Cup, the entire team was overcome by a state of extreme sadness. The dream of reaching the final of the Confederations Cup was soon, but We did not succeed.”

He continued: “All the teams in Group Three are highly respected by Al-Ahly, and the team is focusing on its results and the necessity of achieving victory in every match it plays in the tournament.”
