Mido: Hussein Ammouta is Capable of Managing Al-Ahly Stars
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, confirmed that coach Hussein Ammouta is capable of handling Al Ahly's stars, noting that he possesses the qualities that qualify him for success with the Red Club.
Mido said in a television statement: "There will be no clash between Al Ahly's stars and Hussein Ammouta, as he is a coach with a strong personality and extensive experience in dealing with high-profile players."
He added: "Amouta has exceptional abilities in managing locker rooms and dealing with stars, which was evident during his previous experiences with the clubs and national teams he led."
The former Zamalek and Egypt national team star continued: "I expect him to succeed at Al Ahly, especially since there is a strong working system within the club that helps any coach achieve their goals."
Al-Ahly had dismissed the Danish coach Jes Thorup from his position as the head coach of the Red team as part of the extensive changes taking place across various levels within the club.
Al Ahly is close to announcing the appointment of Hussein Amouta as the head coach of the first team.
