MC Algiers coach Patrice Amir Boumel said he is proud to participate in the CAF Champions League.
Tomorrow, Mouloudia Algiers will meet TP Mazembe in the first round of the African Champions League.
Bomel said in the press conference before the match: “We are proud to participate again in an African competition like the Champions League.”
He added: "We are also proud to put the team in the position it deserves, and we are happy to start this competition and be excited to face the giant TP Mazembe, whom we know well."
He continued: “As long as we are in this role, that means we deserve it. We won the title in Algeria, but winning there remains very difficult.”
He concluded: “We want to return with a positive result. We will give everything to honor our flag and the Mouloudia shirt. We respect Mazembe.” But that will be by proving our existence.”
