Schubert said on Facebook: “Praise and thanks be to God, Mustafa Schubert’s first international match. Congratulations for participating, and the next will be better, God willing.”
The match between the Egyptian national team and its counterpart, the Botswana national team, ended in a positive draw 1-1.
The match was held within the framework of the sixth and final round of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
