Moin Chaabani, the Moroccan coach of RS Berkane, confirmed that he dreams of his team winning the Moroccan League title.
The RS Berkane team defeated its Turkish counterpart, Al-Ittihad, with a score of 1-0 yesterday in a match within the framework of the tenth round of the Moroccan League.
Al-Shaabani said in The press conference after the match: “The most important thing that was achieved was to win the three points, despite the difficulty of the match, because we knew that we would play against a very excellent and organized team, which has young players with great energy, and has a style of play that we believe in.”
He added: “We coped well with the match, through defensive solidity, and I thank the players for their work, and for showing excellent character. Championship matches require a lot of patience, as well as self-confidence, and the substitute players are the ones who helped us achieve the three points.”
He continued: “The problem of transportation has created problems for us for some time, and we have become accustomed to it and are trying to deal with it. I thank the technical and medical staff for their efforts, and thank God because we do not suffer from muscle injuries.”
He concluded: “Any coach dreams of winning the crown with the team he coaches, but there is a group of clubs competing for the title, although some of them are not accustomed to playing in the championship, but they are in the first positions, but we do not forget.” The competition is still long, and with 3 days having passed, the ranking could change at any moment.”
