Mariska: I don't look at this, and the fans pay money to see Palmer

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca appeared in press statements, after beating Newcastle 2-1 in the ninth round of the English Premier League.

The coach said: “ “It was a different game compared to other teams. We know how strong they are and how good they are for Newcastle, we've had some good moments on the ball, and we're very happy overall.”

He added about Cole Palmer: “That's why It makes people pay for tickets and watch the matches, they want to see this type of player. We are very happy to have him with us.”

He continued: “I am always worried. We can attack better and defend better. We started three months ago so I'm very happy with where we are now. The important thing is that the feeling is good.”

He stressed: “We have played nine matches already. I'm not looking at the table at the moment. If you do that sometimes you might feel confused.”

He concluded: “Players understand every day what we are working for. Fans can enjoy and dream. As a club and as players, we need to understand that there are many things we can do better.”
