Zamalek coach rejects Belaid

Press reports revealed that Portuguese Jose Gomez, coach of Zamalek, had caused the failure of the transfer of Algerian Zinedine Belaid, player of Belgian Saint, to the White Castle in the current summer transfer period.

Zamalek wanted to sign Algerian Belaid this summer, to strengthen its defense line, according to what was reported in press sources.

The sources explained that Zamalek is planning to sign Belaid next season, and all the details have been agreed upon with the player.

For his part, Gomez rejected the idea of a new defender coming to the ranks of Zamalek in the coming period, which caused the failure of negotiations between the club and the player Belaid.

It is noteworthy that Belaid was a target for Al-Ahly club in the summer Mercato, but the player decided to move to his current Belgian club.
