Chico Banza issues official statement responding to Rwanda allegations

Angolan Chico Banza, a player for Zamalek SC, has released an official statement in response to recent reports regarding inappropriate behavior during the team's stay in Rwanda. These allegations prompted the player to break his silence to clarify the situation and settle the controversy surrounding the incident.

Chico Banza said in his statement:

"I, Chico Banza, would like to clarify my position regarding the information circulating about allegations of my involvement with a hotel employee in Rwanda."

"I categorically deny the accusations attributed to me, and I consider the information published about me to be false. I express my regret for the circulation of content that may harm my image, reputation, and the professional career that I am working hard to build with dedication and sacrifices."

"I am an athlete, but above all, I am a human being, a son, and a member of a family that deserves respect. I have a mother and a family, and I cannot accept the use of false information or unfounded claims to undermine my dignity and personal life."

"Sporting competition is part of football, and it should remain within the green rectangle. It is not fair for disputes related to sports to go beyond the pitch and turn into attacks targeting the personal and family life of a professional."

"This matter is being taken seriously, and it has been referred to the appropriate legal authorities to clarify the facts accordingly."

"I will continue to focus on my professional career, my work, and the goals I strive to achieve. I would like to thank all the fans, friends, and family members, as well as everyone who has shown their support and trust in me."

"Truth must prevail, respect should rise above competition, and justice must take its course."
