Serginio Dest, the former Barcelona and current PSV Eindhoven player, admitted that coach Xavi Hernandez “was not honest with him” before his departure from the team.
Dest said in press statements: “Xavi was not honest with me.”
He concluded: “Last summer, before I went on vacation, he told me: ‘I’m counting on you, don’t listen to the media.’ Then When I came back from vacation he said to me: 'Well, you have to leave.'"
Dest joined PSV Eindhoven in 2023 on loan, then joined them permanently this summer. .
