The French club Lille announced in an official statement that its Algerian international player, Nabil Bentaleb, suffered a sudden health illness and was transferred to the hospital immediately and urgently.
The Lille club said in Official statement: “Nabil Bentaleb fell ill on Tuesday evening and was immediately taken into care and sent to the University Hospital in Lille to receive treatment. We call on everyone to respect the player’s private life.”
Many reports close to Lille Club indicated that the Algerian international player suffered a sudden heart attack without revealing any other details.
The 29-year-old Bentaleb began his career. In England at Tottenham after training in northern France and Belgium, he then returned to French club Angers before joining Lille in the summer of 2023.
