Ronaldo's failure to return caused Ferguson to retire
Frenchman Patrice Evra, the former Manchester United player, revealed in his interview with “Obi-Wan Broadcast” an event that greatly affected the club, in his opinion.
Evra said that the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the Welsh star, Gareth Bale, agreed to join Manchester United in 2013.
But according to Evra, the club’s management refused to pay the total fee amounting to 200 million pounds sterling, and Sir Alex Ferguson retired after that.
It is worth noting that Manchester United has suffered major turmoil since Ferguson’s retirement, from which it has not emerged until today.
