Al-Ittihad Club revealed the diagnosis of French defender Danilo Pereira's injury and his position on Al Ain's upcoming match in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.

The Al-Ittihad account on the “X” platform reported that the medical examinations that Danilo underwent showed an injury to the right leg muscle.

Danilo begins a treatment and rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical team, which will determine the date of his return to group training based on the improvement of his injury.

Pereira was injured during the confrontation between Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal in the fourth round of the Saudi Roshan League, which ended with the Al-Jeddawi team losing 3-1, last Saturday evening.

Danilo Pereira will miss Al-Ittihad’s match against Al-Ain scheduled for Tuesday evening, as part of the round of 32 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup competition.
