The young Colombian striker Ricardo Caraballo is close to leaving Al-Ittihad during the current summer transfer window, as negotiations for his move to the Bosnian club Sarajevo have reached advanced stages.

Bosnian media reports confirmed that the talks between the two clubs have seen significant developments in recent days, with an almost complete agreement on the details of the anticipated deal.

The sources indicated that the Sarajevo management succeeded in finalizing most of the arrangements for signing the player, following a series of meetings and consultations with his representatives.

The Bosnian club has also reached an agreement with Caraballo's agent regarding all personal terms, including the contract duration, salary, and various financial incentives.

The Colombian striker expressed a clear desire to embark on a new professional experience within the European continent, considering this step an important milestone in his football career.

Following the player's approval, Sarajevo officials entered into direct negotiations with the Al-Ittihad Club company, where they agreed on the financial aspects of his transfer.

The club's management believes that selling the player will yield both technical and financial benefits, while also providing him with a greater opportunity to participate and gain experience in a new competitive environment.

The federation signed Caraballo in September 2024 from the Colombian club Barranquilla with a contract extending for three seasons, as part of a project to attract promising talents.

The player underwent a loan experience with Jeddah Club during the 2024-2025 season, aiming to develop his technical skills and gain more playing time before deciding on his final future.
