The father of Mohamed Elneny, the midfield captain of the Egyptian national team, revealed his son’s position on returning to the Egyptian League if he received an offer from Al-Ahly Club, during the summer transfer market.
Elneny is currently leading the Egyptian Olympic team participating in the Olympic Games held in the French capital, Paris.
Nasser Al-Nani said in statements on Al-Nahar channel, that his son did not receive any official offer from the Emirati side Al-Jazeera, while there are no negotiations with Al-Ahly.
He indicated that if Elneny returns to Egypt, he will wear the Al-Ahly logo, and will not head towards Zamalek or Pyramids.
Nasser Elneny also mentioned in other statements on Channel One: “For Elneny and any player in Egypt, professionalism is a priority for him, but of course we welcome the move to Al-Ahly if there are negotiations or an offer because His mother worked a lot with him during his time with Al-Ahly.”
He added: “For Elneny, the Egyptian national team is everything, and he becomes the saddest when he is excluded from the national team.”
