Bayern Munich's new player suffers a serious injury

Bayern Munich's new defender, Hiroki Ito, suffered a serious injury in his team's friendly match against Düren, this Sunday evening.

The young defender suffered a severe leg injury. He came off in the 20th minute and was replaced by Adam Azno.

Bayern Munich manager Max Eberl said about Eto'o's injury: "His foot is broken. He will be out of action for a long time."

Eto'o joined Bayern this summer from Stuttgart for 23 million euros.
