Marsh: No restrictions on Alphonso Davies' minutes with Canada

Jesse Marsch, the head coach of the Canada national team, has talked about Alphonso Davies' return to the national squad, confirming that there are no restrictions on the left-back's minutes from his club Bayern Munich.

Marsh said: "Our medical team has been in contact with Bayern Munich, and there are no restrictions on Alphonso's minutes. He is in good shape and at a high level physically and mentally, and he has returned to delivering his best football."

He added: "He is very excited to return to the national team, and I am very excited to have him with us again, as well as all the team members."

He continued: "Especially when you look at our injury list, it’s good to have our captain back, and his return has come at just the right time."
