Biscani after Cagliari win: A victory with special value on the anniversary of Gigi Riva

Cagliari's coach Fabio Pisacane expressed his immense happiness with the victory over Frosinone, highlighting the emotional significance of the win coinciding with the birthday of club legend Gigi Riva.

The coach stated that his team cannot be considered safe from relegation due to this win alone, as the four previous defeats do not mean relegation. He emphasized that the players executed the plan as required.

Biscani spoke about his decision to give Grando a chance to participate, revealing that he made the decision late on the night of the match. He said: "I was convinced that it represented the closing of a circle, as I brought him from the Primavera team."

He added that the player deserved this moment, expressing his great happiness with the trust placed in him despite the possibility of some objecting to his selection.

Cagliari's coach praised Adobo's performance, highlighting his readiness to participate despite the circumstances, before returning to the pitch and scoring an important goal.

Biscani explained that the player has become a key element within the group, but he needs to think more about himself and show "a healthy amount of selfishness" in front of goal, hoping that his goal will be the start of a series of goals.

Biscani concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of contributions from all players, praising the performances of Paul and Sugameli. He also urged Kevin Carlos to adapt more to the demands of Serie A, reaffirming his great confidence in his future.

Cagliari's coach emphasized that such victories raise the level of the group, especially with the return of absent players and the full recovery of their energy in the upcoming period.
