Barcelona still dreams of signing Gvardiol
FC Barcelona remain interested in signing Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol from Manchester City, who is admired by Hans Flick, the Catalan team's head coach, and is considered one of his preferred options to strengthen the backline.
According to what was reported by "Mundo Deportivo", Barcelona's task will not be easy, as Gvardiol has renewed his contract with Manchester City until June 2031, while the English club shows no desire to part with his services.
The cost of signing the Croatian defender could exceed €100 million, complicating the deal financially, especially as the two clubs have not yet entered into any official negotiations.
The Croatian player has been linked multiple times with a departure from Manchester City to either Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, or even Paris Saint-Germain, before renewing his contract with the English club.
