Enrique: De Miguel's death affected us all, and this is what I said to Iñigo

Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, has made sure to send a message of support to Iñigo following the 6-0 victory over Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League.

Enrique spoke about the death of Di Miguel: "It is one of those sudden and sad events that affect us all. Clearly, the family of the deceased player is the most affected, and we all feel sorrow for what happened. But we must also think about the player who caused the incident, his family, and the suffering they are going through. Certainly, the suffering of the deceased's family is much greater."

He added: "It is sad, and we must appreciate every minute in our lives. We offer our full support to Tenerife and the family of the affected person."

Speaking about Paris Saint-Germain's win over Villarreal, the French coach said: "If there is one thing this team has proven over the past years, it is its ability to deliver reliable performances and play to win, regardless of injuries, results, and venues. When things go this way, it is fantastic. We were very dominant because we managed to regain the ball near the opponent's goal and score the first goals."

He continued: "No team can afford to concede three goals in 15 minutes. I love Villarreal a lot, not just because of the individual quality of their players, but also because of their coach, yet no team can withstand that against a team that has complete confidence like ours."

Enrique concluded his remarks by saying: "I feel sorry for them, I am sure they will get through this, I told Iñigo: be brave and move forward, we have all been through such situations, and I am sure he will be able to overcome it."
