Fadlu Davies enters MAS Fes plans to replace Rui Almeida

MAS Fes has begun its efforts to identify a potential replacement for Portuguese coach Rui Almeida, as his departure from the team appears likely due to a decline in results during recent matches. South African Fadlu Davies has emerged as one of the options being considered to take over the managerial role.

The club management has opened communication channels with Davies, and has begun negotiations with him to oversee the technical direction of the team, awaiting a decision on Almeida's future in the coming hours.

MAS Fes are set to hold a meeting with their Portuguese coach to discuss the possibility of mutually terminating his contract following the negative results the team has achieved. There is anticipation regarding the management's decision on whether to give him another chance or part ways.

Davis previously worked as an assistant to German coach Joseph Zinnbauer at Raja Club during the 2023-2024 season before moving on to a coaching experience with Simba SC.

The South African coach has taken charge of the first team at Raja Club in 2025, bringing his name back into the spotlight in the Botola Pro, this time through MAS Fes.
