Foul smells force MAS Fes players to change their training location
MAS Fes players had to change their training location ahead of their match against ASEC Mimosas due to unpleasant odors in their designated changing room, according to reports from Abidjan.
The Moroccan team, known as the 'Yellow Tigers', was shocked by the state of the changing room upon their arrival at the stadium, amid reports indicating that suitable health conditions were not available. This led the players and staff to refrain from using it to ensure their safety and focus before the match.
In light of this situation, the delegation was forced to search for an alternative place to complete their preparations, as the luggage was moved and the players changed into their sports clothes inside the warm-up hall, which was temporarily used as a substitute for the team's designated changing room.
This incident comes before an important continental clash for MAS Fes against ASEC Mimosas, at a time when the team needs the right conditions to prepare players and coaching staff ahead of the match.
According to available information, the reasons behind the foul odors in the dressing room remain unclear, and it has not been revealed whether the organizing authorities intervened to address the situation before the match began.
