Manchester United inquire about signing Bayern Munich talent
Lennart Karl, a talent from Bayern Munich, has caught the attention of Manchester United, who have inquired about his potential signing, alongside Arsenal and Liverpool, according to German journalist Christian Falk.
The 18-year-old player has made 52 appearances for Bayern, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists. He has also become the youngest player to score for the club in the UEFA Champions League.
Falk has clarified that Karl's value is around €60 million, but Bayern Munich have no plans to sell him and are keen on keeping him despite interest from English clubs.
This comes amid criticism from Uli Hoeness, the honorary president of the club, directed at the player, considering that he is still far from stardom and needs to show more humility.
Michael Ballack, agent of Karl, responded to these statements, considering it incorrect to confuse his public appearances with his athletic development. He also criticized the timing of Max Eberl's remarks regarding his difficult period, despite the improvement in his performance.
Lennart Karl is under contract with Bayern Munich until 2029, and negotiations for his renewal have not yet begun.
