Gasperini: Our attacking strength is a sign of AS Roma players' confidence

Gian Piero Gasperini praised AS Roma's attacking strength during their impressive 5-2 victory over Udinese, stating that scoring goals through a number of players reflects the great confidence within the team.

Gasperini said in his statements to DAZN: "The attacking numbers are very important; we score a lot of goals with many different players, and this is a sign of confidence, as many players know they can be decisive."

AS Roma's coach spoke about his team's decline in performance in the second half, noting that the fixture congestion had a clear impact. He added: "It was the eighth match in less than 20 days, and it's natural to lose some focus, especially with a match against Manchester in three days."

Gasperini praised the enthusiasm of the young players, highlighting that Ghilardi was determined to prove himself after feeling frustrated by his disallowed goal in the UEFA Champions League, before successfully scoring a beautiful goal against Udinese.

AS Roma's coach concluded his remarks by stressing the difficulty of recovering injured players before the break, given the absence of several key players. He stated that the pressure of matches makes it essential to rotate the squad and divide minutes among players in the upcoming period.
