Reason for Mohamed Hany's exclusion from Al Ahly FC's squad against Modern

Media personality Amir Hossam reported that Mohamed Hany's absence from Al Ahly FC's squad for the upcoming match against Modern is due to a technical decision from the coaching staff, confirming that this decision is not related to the ongoing contract renewal negotiations with the club.

Al Ahly FC face Modern today, Thursday, at Cairo International Stadium in the eighth round of the Egyptian League.

Ameer Hisham explained during television statements that the decision to exclude Mohamed Hany is due to the vision of the coaching staff led by Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta. He confirmed that the file regarding the renewal of the player's contract has nothing to do with the decision for his absence from the match list.

Hisham indicated that negotiations for the renewal with the team's right-back are still on the board of directors' table, and it is expected that there will be serious movement and intensive sessions at the beginning of the new year, as the management of Al Ahly FC seeks to arrange its priorities and finalize the files of players whose contracts are nearing expiration.
