Mido: Hussein El Shahat surpasses Ahmed Fattouh in mentality and professionalism

Ahmed Hossam Mido compared Hussein El Shahat, a player for Al Ahly FC, and Ahmed Fattouh, the left-back for Zamalek SC, shining a light on the difference in professional mentality despite their shared background. Mido praised El Shahat's focus and consistent effectiveness with the team, regardless of whether he starts or comes on as a substitute.

Mido has stated in television remarks that Hussein El Shahat and Ahmed Fattouh come from the same area, but there is a significant difference between them in mentality and professionalism.

He added: "El Shahat and Fattouh are from the same area, but the difference in mentality and professionalism is very, very big. Hussein El Shahat sits on the bench for players who are technically inferior to him, but when he comes on, he makes the difference and silences everyone."

Mido's comments highlight the clear contrast in the careers of both players, praising Hussein El Shahat for his maturity and respect for the coaches' choices, while noting his intelligence in utilizing available minutes to leave a positive mark with the team. In contrast, Mido criticized Ahmed Hossam, stating that his management style of his football career has led to him being surrounded by numerous ongoing crises that have negatively impacted his performance on the pitch.
